Continuing the gallery's recent focus on Mino ware, our Asia Week New York exhibitions again showcase another pair of artists whose works represent the extraordinary range of ceramics long produced in this historic region of Japan. Our two-year focus on master artists from Mino culminates this September in the solo exhibitions of Itō Hidehito and Hori Ichirō. While unmistakably rooted in classical forms and glazes, both still clearly express their original artistic viewpoints.
